Société Générale boosts its presence online and offline
Publication multicanal pour le Marketing
A collaborative content management and publishing platform to optimize the communications of the Group, on both digital and print media
- In a concern for innovation and operational efficiency, Société Générale chose WEDIA in 2003 to launch a first project to create fast and in large number Intranet websites (industrialization). Key factors of success were: sharing of content between sites, capacity to open a new Intranet within 10 days, cost cutting due to standardization of operations.
- When the HR department needed to optimize the 19,000 recruitments planned for 2008 in order to support its activity around the world, the IT departement naturally recommended the WEDIA platform, the performances of which had been validated for the web projects of the Group. Thus, the unified platform of WEDIA was implemented to handle all Group recruitment websites and promote the brand worldwide. Challenges of managing all site from the same platform, respecting the graphic charter in every country while decentralizing the contribution to guarantee a better localization and performance were reached.
- The third adopter of the platform at Société Générale was the graphic studio in 2008 in a will to optimize the creation of communication media of the Group. Working as a real in-house agency, the studio helps all departments for the creation of magazines, newsletters, brochures... Their target was to improve the global efficiency of the studio, automating and simplifying the validation process, having all non-technician contributor to work collaboratively while centralizing and sharing all contents for all department.
